Hello! Salaam! I’m Khadija from Toronto. I’m a textile craft artist with a BFA and MFA specializing in textiles. I’m currently working on two temporary public art installations that incorporate South Asian mirror embroidery, and I received a grant this year to expand my research-creation on the European-colonial impacts on the Kashmiri shawl industry’s design and production methods.
