Hi everyone! My name is Seema and I’m from NYC. I’m of South Asian ancestry via Pakistani and and Indo-Caribbean heritage. I’m a Visual Artist, Educator and Curator. My work centers my identity and South Asian heritage, so I’m excited to learn some facets of 19th and 20th century Indian Art from this course.

I am Bharat Pratap Singh, hailing from New Delhi, India. I hold a bachelor’s degree in History from Hindu College at the University of Delhi. Subsequently, I pursued a degree in Fashion Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi. With over 30 years of experience in the textile and fashion industry, I have had the opportunity of working in both India and international markets. Furthermore, I have dedicated a portion of my career to academia, where I have taught and mentored students at various design institutions throughout the country. I found this course to be highly informative and educational, as it has provided me with valuable insights. I would like to extend my gratitude to MAP for offering this enlightening course.
