Hello everyone! I’m Bhargavi. I’m a History of Art student at the Indian Institute of Heritage (Formerly National Museum Institute) and currently I’m working on my dissertation.
I am hoping to learn more about modern and contemporary art as I wish to specialize in the same. Looking forward to learning and interacting with everyone!
Hello! I have a doubt regarding one of the statements made in ‘Artistic Engagements with Art History: Revisiting the Past’. While discussing the artwork ‘Obituary Note’ by L.N. Tallur it says that Shiva Nataraja is dancing on cremation ground, but he is dancing on the demon Apasmara who represents ignorance. I want to know whether this is the artist’s interpretation or not? I did not know how to contact someone about this so I’m using this forum.
