Greetings, my name is Beth. I am a retired art teacher and a current teaching artist. I chose to take this course as a way to check my prior learning/knowledge of Indian textiles and to guide future learning. I will be traveling to India in March and April with plans to study and create fiber/textile artwork. I hope to be able to connect and work with women’s cooperatives in Meghalaya, Jaipur and Kerala.
